Some users have often found that the audio balance of the speakers is not finely tuned.

The special audio enhancers that you are using may sometimes create issues with Windows sound.

A quite common cause may be the outdated audio drivers that you may need to either update or reinstall.

There are few more causes that I will discuss here.

Ways To Fix Windows 10 Sound Not Working Issue

There are various possible ways that I may suggest you fix the issues like tweaking some settings or reverting to a previous restore point, etc.

Method 1: Check That The Audio Balance Of Your Speakers is Tuned

Whenever you introduce a new speaker to your device, make sure that you always go for adjusting the volumes for the channels separately and then balance it.

See that both the right and the left speakers have equal volume adjustments done.

Always balance the volume levels as per your preference level for yielding proper results.

This will be help you to adjust the sound not working in Windows 10 issue with much ease. Follow the steps given below to accomplish the work properly:

Step 1: Go to Display to find the speaker icon from your bottom right corner and then right Click on it. Now a window will get displayed and you are required to select Open Sound Settings option.

Open_sound_setting

Step 2: Next move on to Playback Devices and from here make some alteration in the audio balance. Then Move on to open the Properties.

Here I am describing you the procedure for updating or reinstalling the problematic driver with the help of the Device Manager.

Step 1: First, open Run by holding the Windows key and pressing the R button. Now enter devmgmt.msc in the given box and press the Enter button.
