Chrome allows you to import bookmarks from Edge to Chrome or from Firefox to Chrome. Follow the instructions given below to do it:
Step 1: Launch Chrome and click on the 3 dots icon at the top right corner.
Step 2: Select Bookmarks from the displayed menu and move on to Bookmarks. Then, select import Bookmarks and Settings option.
This way Chrome is going to detect and then display the browsers that have been installed on your device.
Step 3: All you will have to do is just select the dropdown box. Next choose Microsoft Edge browser.
Step 4: Now go to Select items to import and enable Favorites or Bookmarks.
Step 6: Next, hit the import option. You will get to see the Done message after completion of the process.
Manually Export And Import
Follow the instructions mentioned below to export and import bookmarks from Edge to Chrome manually:
Step 1: Launch Edge, copy-paste Edge://favorites/ on the address bar and press Enter. This will open the Favorite settings.
Step 2: Click on the 3 dots button and select Export Favorites.
Step 3: Browse to the location you want to save the file and click on Save.
Step 4: Next go to Chrome and click on the 3 dots. Select Settings from the menu and click on Import Bookmarks and settings.
Step 5: Click on the drop-down menu and select the Bookmarks HTML file option.
Step 6: Enable the Favorites/ Bookmarks checkbox and click on the Choose File option.
Next, select the HTML favorites file that you exported earlier. When you have finished, Chrome will give you a message that the Favorites got successfully imported.
