Solution 2: Change To Secure Connection

This is also a remarkably simpler step to change to a secure connection or switching to a particular mailing client that will not give you so much trouble.

This is also an easy and effective method suggested by many users to launch the System File Checker.

Here I am mentioning the steps in detail. Follow them:

Step 1: In the search box, enter cmd and then choose to open an elevated Command Prompt.

Step 5: After the procedure is over reboot your system. Now check whether the ISO file is properly mounted in the system.

Solution 7: Run A DISM Scan

Step 1: First of all, run Command Prompt as an administrator.

Step 2: Now enter DISM.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and then hit the Enter button.

Step 4: After finishing the scan, give your Windows a fresh restart and check whether your mail app is working fine now. 

Solution 8: Update Or Reinstall The Problematic Driver

Sometimes the driver installation may get interrupted and, in this case, you will be facing the windows 10 mail not working problem.

To solve the problem, I would recommend you force Windows for the reinstallation of the driver. You can go for updating or uninstallation.

Here I am describing you the procedure for updating or reinstalling the problematic driver with the help of the Device Manager.

Step 1: First, open Run by holding the Windows key and pressing the R button. Now enter devmgmt.msc in the given box and press the Enter button.

When you get into the Device Manager, identify the device and right-click on it that is generating the issue and select Update Device from the displayed menu.

Step 3: Now, after right-clicking on the device and then select choose Install Driver.

Now choose to search automatically for updating the driver from the next screen. This will help you search for a new driver signature automatically.
