Railjacks are interceptor spacecraft from the Orokin era. The Tenno use these Railjacks to confront large capital ships as these are equipped with weapons and defensive systems.

Cephalon Cy is the Railjack’s executive officer and navigator.

A single Tenno can control a Railjack but for the optimal performance of the Railjack, four Tenno are required.

They are responsible to manage different parts of the spaceship-like battle stations, helm, repairs, guarding against the intruders, putting out fires, etc.

A player can choose to perform any role to keep the Railjack suitable for fighting.

So, you can drive the Railjack, repair damage, craft some valuable resources or add ammunition from the rear forge.

Why Is A Railjack Built? How To Get A Railjack in Warframe?

A Railjack is built after completing the Second Dream and during the Rising Tide quest.

You can also buy a Railjack for platinum from the market. When you obtain a Railjack this way, your Rising Tide quest will be counted as completed. You can trade Platinum with other players for free.

Without a Railjack it is hard to complete The Empyrean star chart, Ash and Oberon, and Two Warframes.

These Railjacks are equipped with Archwing Slingshot. For breaching the hull and boarding the enemies, a Tenno can shoot at the enemy ship with the help of that Archwind Slingshot.

The Tenno can also use these Archwings to go to the space and explore it or fight individually using the Archwings. Now let us see how to get a Railjack on warframe

For building a Railjack first of all find the Cephalon ship and complete the Rising Tide Quest. In the VellProxima, Rising Tide Quest starts with increasing Sentient activities.

Warframe Railjack Building Guide

You will have to complete some low-level missions which are, levels 20-35.

Here you will be defending a crashed Railjack. Then travel back to Dry Dock to craft with the crashed Railjack. You might need six long hours to complete the entire mission. So, do not rush and finish the mission successfully.

When you craft apart, CephalonCy will ask you to get another piece. You will have to build a piece then find another one, rinse and repeat the process.

In total, you need to build six parts of the Railjack for finishing the entire quest. Check the following crafting components of a Railjack:

Fuselage – To build a Fuselage you need 25,000 Credits, 5 Cubic Diodes, 250 Plastids, 1,250 Rubedo, and 3 Neural Sensors.
Propulsion System –For building this system you will require 25,000 Credits, 5 Carbides, 250 Cryotic, 1 Orokin Cell, and 1,250 Nano Spores.
Port Nacelle – Port Nacelle requires 25,000 Credits, 5 Carbides, 400 Circuits, 2,000 Alloy Plating, and 10 Control Modules.

Starboard Nacelle – 25,000 Credits, 5 Carbides, 400 Circuits, Samples, 2,000 Alloy Plates, and 10 Control Module.
Tail Section – 25,000 Credits, 5 Cubic Diodes, 750 Ferrite, 300 Polymer Bundle, and 1 Argon Crystal.
Engine Cowling – 25,000 Credits, 5 Cubic Diodes, 10 Detonite Ampules, 750 Ferrite, and 1,000 Salvage.

After you finish the construction of the Railjack, you can board it.

But you cannot take off as Reliquary Drive is still offline. This is a critical component of your Railjack.

Now Cy will ask you to find a key called Lua. You will have to fulfill a snatch and grab mission to get the key.

But beware of the Sentient and Corrupted enemies while collecting the key.

After recovering the Void Lua key, insert it into the Reliquary Drive to make your Railjack operational.

Now you can set for your Empyrean Mission using the navigation console of your Railjack.

Mods in Railjack

To update your Railjack, you can use Mods, weapons, and Thrusters. Like Warframes, Railjack also has 8 mod slots.

Besides, you get a special customizable slot called Aura. You can maximize the mod capacity with Affinity (XP). You can earn this Affinity (XP) during your missions.

The modding Menu of Railjack is called The Plexus. There are three tabs in Plexus – Integrated, Battle, and Tactical. You will be provided with two extra customizable Mod Menus.
