How To Save Your Selected Flickr Photos – Complete Guide

Sometimes it might seem challenging and confusing how to save Flickr photos.

In today’s article, I am going to illustrate the ways to save your chosen photos from Flickr.

Process 1: Download Flickr photos from Photostream

You can download Flickr photos from Photostream. I am describing the steps in detail for your convenience. Follow the steps given below:

Step 1: First of all, you need to log in to Flickr’s account with your credentials after you have downloaded and installed Flickr.

Step 2: Next choose a photo you wish to download. The photos are about to be in two areas.

Step 3: First select the Camera Roll option to see all the Flickr photos. Now when you click on a specific photo, it will get added to the pile of photos that are supposed to be downloaded.

Step 4: You will get to see the option at the bottom of the screen. For adding the whole batch, choose the Select all option.

Step 5: In case you are storing the photos in an album and wish to download the entire album, choose the specific album for downloading.

Step 6: Now hit the download button and you will get to see various types of pop-up messages depending upon the number of photos you have chosen.

Step 7: In case you have selected a single photo to download, you will be given the “Download 1” photo option.

Step 8: In case you have chosen the album of photos, you will get to see – Download zip option.

Step 9: You will have to click on the message and give a proper destination to save those.

Step 10: In the case of the zip file, check that after downloading. You will have to extract the same after double-clicking on it.

Process 2: Use Another Person’s Photostream

You can choose someone else’s Photostream for Flicker photo download. Here is a comprehensive guide to performing the task.

Follow the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Go to the Flickr photos to select. In case you see a downward pointer just beneath the photo, make sure that is eligible for download.

Step 2: Click on that pointing arrow for viewing the image options. Select the View all sizes option.

Step 3: Remember, the higher the resolution is, the larger will be the image.

Step 4: In case you do not find many resolution options, the photo may be smaller in size or the owner has not provided many resolution options.

Step 5: Select a size and then hit the download button and select a location to save the photo and you are done!

Process 3: Take Help Of Flickr Downloader In Web Browser

You can also download Flickr photos by using your Google Chrome. All you need to do is add the extension to your Chrome.

Step 1: Open Google Chrome and add Flicker downloader from the Extension section.

Step 2: Visit Chrome Webstore and input Flickr in the search bar. You will find the extension there. Now simply add it to your Chrome browser.

Step 3: Now launch Flickr downloader and add that to your web browser.

Step 4: Now go to the home icon and enter a topic or some Flickr user’s account.

You can choose the magnifying glass to commence your search.

Step 5: Choose a photo that you wish to download.

In case you have searched for the group, select Groups, and if you have searched for a keyword, select Photos.

Step 6: Select a photo and add that to the download pile. Hit on the arrow icon for beginning the download process.

Step 7: You will have to select a proper file size from the bottom of the screen.

Step 8: Here Original is the highest available quality. Select a folder destination for the location of the picture.

Step 9: Hit the OK button as each image will get downloaded separately and you will not be needing to unzip the files.
