Do you know what is 3d display mode? Here is the answer to your question. A 3D display is considered to be the high-quality display device which is capable of showing depth perception for the viewer through stereopsis for the sake of binocular vision.
All About 3D Display
A display that offers extreme in-depth 3D effect while viewed by the viewers is called a 3D display. The latest technologies included in it are volumetric, holography, stereoscopic and multi-view displays.
You need to know about 3d display mode in windows 10 if you are using an advanced version of OS. You need to enable or disable the display mode to activate the 3D effect in your videos.
How To Perform Stereoscopic 3D?
Windows 10 offers a constant API and DDD (Device Driver Interface) platform for the sake of stereoscopic 3D to access video playback and gaming.
The Stereoscopic 3D rendering is accessible only on the systems which have essential components for enabling stereoscopic 3D. The essential components include of 3D capable graphics hardware, display hardware, software applications, and peripherals.
The stereo design available at the graphics stack is like the display technology and specific visualization feature. It is used as agnostic to the OS of the system.
However, the display driver seems to directly communicate with the graphics driver and has extensive knowledge regarding the display capabilities via standardized EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) structure.
The driver tends to itemize the stereo capability only when it seems to recognize that the display is connected with the system.

How To Disable Your 3D Hardware Acceleration?
If you want to disable windows 10 3d display mode then there are essential steps to be followed. In order to disable the 3D hardware acceleration, you have to follow the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Right click the desktop & choose the graphics properties

Stereoscopy Versus 3D Display
The main objective of the stereo display is to provide offset images which are displayed to the right and left eye separately. Both of these images with 2D offset are combined together into the brain in order to offer the perception of a 3D effect.
The notable difference between the 3D displays is that the viewer’s eyes and head movements will not enhance information regarding the 3D objects that are being displayed.
Users will enjoy a rich content in 3D mode rather than the 2D modes. If your settings are disabled then you need to enable your 3D display mode.
Overall Conclusion
From the above article, you might have known about what is 3d display mode and how to turn on it. 3D mode display for your windows can be easily enabled or disabled with the above-mentioned instructions. Follow these steps for changing your display settings easily

Just got a trick here.
Many has stuck in 3D display option on the windows 10 display settings.
The instructions above doesn’t work.
The trick is simple. Try use the F7 Display extension selection (the one where you can choose to select extended, duplicate or single display).
Now, once pressed just switch to any of the modes.
Viola…now your display is back and you can change whatever you want.

Hi
I enabled 3D mode with my screen being an HDMI TV screen. Once enabled I could not see as the TV does not support the resolution.
I connected another older pc screen at the same time and Windows 10 recognized that I had two screens.
On the older PC screen I right clicked and selected display settings where I selected the TV screen and disabled the 3D mode.
I hooe this helps someone
