Verify the Game Files on Steam

Here is how you can verify the integrity of the game files from Steam platform.

Head to the Steam Library. Right-click on the game and open its Properties.
Go to the Installed Files tab and click on the Verify the Integrity of the Game files option.

Wait till Steam verifies the game files and downloads the missing file or fix the
corrupted game files. Once done launch the game and check.

Repair, Update Or Reinstall AntiCheat

Next, repair, reset ore reinstall the AntiCheat. Go to the installation location for FC26.

Open the folder and then open the Installer folder.
Locate the EAAntiCheat folder. Open it.
Double click on the EAAntiCheat Installer. From here, select your game.
Click on the repair option. Then on OK.

Next go to the location where the game is installed and select the folder.
Then click on select folder option.
This will repair the AntiCheat.
Next click on Update so that you can make sure everything is up to date.
You can also select the Uninstall option to uninstall the Anticheat completely.
Next select the game from the drop down menu and click on Install button to install the Anticheat.

It will also get reinstalled when you try to run the game next time.

Refresh The Setup Identity

If the above method did not work – refresh the setup identity. Here’s how:

Go to the FC 26 installation directory.
Rename the fcsetup.exe or fcsetup folder to fcsetup_backup.exe .
Restart the EA App and try launching again.

Remember to download the correct architecture, like downloading x64 for 64-bit systems and x86 for 32-bit systems. Install the downloaded file as shown. Now Restart your PC. After the PC Restarts, run the game and the issue should be fixed.

Strengthen the Graphics By Instalingl DirectX

Type in DirectX on Google and click on the top option for Microsoft.
You can also click on this link.
Download the DirectX setup file and after the download is complete, run the exe file. Click on Yes to continue.
Follow the On-screen instructions to finish the downloading process or follow as shown. Make sure to Uncheck Bing Bar box. Let the installation process complete.
After it is complete, restart your PC and then try to launch the game.

Start Fresh With EA App

If the previos processes could not fix the issue, reinstall the EA app. To do so, open Control Panel then select Programs & Features.

Find the EA app. Right click on it and select Unsinstall. Follow the onscreen prompts to finish the process.
Once done, download the latest version from EA’s official site.
