7) Change The DNS Server

- Press Win + I to open Settings. Select Network & Internet option.
- Select Advanced Network settings and choose Network Connection. Open its Properties.
- Click on Internet Protocol Version 4 [TCP/IPv4] and expand its Properties.
- For Preferred DNS Server Address, set the value to 8.8.8.8 and for Alternate DNS Server address set the value to 8.8.4.4. Click on OK to save the changes.
8) Update The Network Drivers

9) Check Your Firewall
Windows Firewall can interfere with Minecraft and prevent you from connecting to the game servers.
So, tweak the rules for Minecraft in the Windows Defender Firewall and solve the problem.
To do so, close all the Minecraft processes using Task Manager.
- Right-click on the Windows Search button and click on Task Manager. Go to the process tab. Find Minecraft and right-click on it.
- Select the End Task option. Make sure to repeat the process if there are other running Minecraft processes.
- Enter Windows Defender Firewall Advanced Security in the Windows Search box and select the first option.
- Select Inbound Rules from the left panel.
- Find Minecraft and double-click on it to open its Properties.
- Click on Allow the connection option from the Action section. Click on Apply and OK
- Select New Rule and then click on Program. Next click on the Next option.
- Click on Browse and then navigate to Minecraft’s installation folder.
- To find the installation path click on the Minecraft shortcut on your desktop and click on the Open File Location option.
- From the installation folder, search for the JRE-x64 folder. Then open the Bin folder.
- Locate javaw.exe from the same Bin folder and click on the Open button. Select Next.
- On the Action window, click on the Allow the Connection option. Select Next to continue.
- Check all the three Private, Domain, and Public boxes in the Profile folder.
- Name the rule and repeat the same steps for the Java.exe file.
- Create the same rules in the Outbound Rules.
- Check if you can connect to the Minecraft servers now. If you still cannot connect, from the Action tab click on the new rule as shown below.
- Next, select the Port option and click Next.
- Check the box for the Specific local ports option and set the value as 25565. Click on Next.
- Select Allow the connection option and click Next.
- Check all the Profiles there and then select Next. Name the rule and complete the process.
